Case Study - Quentin Tarantino

I am writing my case study based on Quentin Tarantino who was born on March 27th 1963 in Queens, New York and is 48 years old. He is a American film director as well as screenwriter, producer, and a actor. He began his career independently by filmmaking he was doing films employing nonlinear story lines and association with violence. Tarantino is well known for his thrillers such as Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill vol1, Kill Bill vol2 and Inglorious Bastards. All these films generated a huge income of millions of pounds. All of the films he has directed are very highly ranked on IMDB showing us that they are all very good films.












Reservoir Dogs
This film hit the big screens in 1992, it is about six criminals, who have never met each other , they are called upon a crime boss Joe Cabot to do a robbery involving diamonds which are worth big money.The six poeple are all given false names and identities so that they stick to job and do not get to freindly with eachother. They all think that the plan is mastermind and that they everything will go to plan and will not get caught. They are all ready to begin the robbery put right at that momment police pull up, and nothing but havoc is caused, shots are fired and people had to flee. One of the six members where killed, the five remaining then link up at a wearhouse to dicuss what happend. Thoughts are raised that one of them is a undercover cop.








Kill Bill Vol1
The main charachter in this movie goes by the name of 'The Bride' this person was associated with a gang people called the deadly viper assassination squad, the main man in charge was called Bill who also was 'The Brides' lover. She then found out that she was pregnant with Bill's child and fled the country to move to Texas and left her life of a killer behind, to start new life. 'The Bride' then settled down and found a man who she was going to get married to, on the day of the wedding she is confronted by Bill..four years later she wakes up from a coma to find her baby is gone. She takes matters into her own hands and looks to seek for revenge on the poeple who killed her child and destroyed her life.












Kill Bill Vol2
This is the sequel to Kill Bill Vol1 and 'The  Bride' is back and she is still carrying on her vengeance quest against her ex-boss who goes by the name of Bill she then takes aim at Bill's younger brother Budd and Elle Driver and is looking to kill them so Bill is wary and knows that he is notsafe. Everything is getting heated and we see if The Bride is confronted by Bill.












Pulp Fiction




 This film involves two men Jules Winnfield and Vincent Vega they are hitmen who are sent out on a job to get a suitcase which was stolen from their employer the big biss Marsellus Wallace. Wallace requested that Vincennt to take his wife Mia out for a couple days later when mob boss Wallace is out of town. This is when Butch Coolidge comes in to the film he is a aging boxer who is paid by Wallace to lose his next fight, things then get out of hand and a number of events start to happen.
